You will be part of our Global Accounting team that is responsible for ensuring that all internal and external reporting requirements are met and day-to-day operations and specifically closing and consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries are running. The Junior Accountant will adhere to accounting governance plans and processes to timely generate accounting information, reporting requirements, and ensure quality of financial information.

As the Junior Accountant you will report into our Finance Director and will be providing support to our local team in Poland, as well as our global team in Germany. This position will work remotely with the ideal candidate residing in Poland.

**This is a temporary position for 2 months (November & December 2023).

Your Role:


  • Reviewing incoming invoices and other financial documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Providing support to the finance team for invoice flow process and other financial documents
  • Communicating with internal and external clients in response to inquiries
  • Posting and reconciliation of AP accounts, inclusive of regular AP account as well as credit card AP accounts
  • Cooperating with finance team in regards to additional ongoing tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a discipline in controlling, accounting or finance preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Notable relevant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Able to communicate clearly and enforce deadlines to stakeholders within and beyond the finance community, including senior management
  • Skilled in solving problems in a complex environment and can manage extensive investigations and analysis
